I'm an energetic DJ who has a passion for mixing music for the masses! Nobody will walk away sober, bored or upset with the sounds pumping from the speakers, fuelling their need to dance! Perfect for that messy, wild night out!

So, sit back, crank up the volume and let your hair down; this beat's intense!

The Past

It's a bit of a foggy memory, but I remember being one step beyond that of my mates' tastes in music; aged 10, I remember getting Ibiza Uncovered: The Return (released 1999), which I still use regularly in my sets, 12 years on after its' release - definitely a timeless CD!

I digress, As soon as I listened to that CD, I was hooked on synth; I was constantly watching Top of the Pops to hear the newest sound and enjoying every minute of it. A song that sticks clearly in my mind is Sandstorm by Darude - for years, I never knew what the song was called and it bugged me like a mofo... It was 5 years before I actually got the name of the song, with my parents constantly turning "that racket" off whenever it came on the TV - I would like to note that Sandstorm is now my mums' favourite driving song...

For Christmas when I was 13 (2002 I think), I got my first slice of the action. I was bought a very basic set of mixing decks (I love you, my homemix deck <3) and for months I was constantly fiddling around with it, sometimes skipping dinner to do so (sounds cliché, I know, but it happened!).

Skip forward a few months, and I'm researching amps, lights, effect machines, trussing, wires and speakers in an attempt to set up a mobile disco! My parents were more than happy to front everything - I think I spent around £700 that weekend and walked away with my own mobile disco set up.

After giving my set-up a trial run at home, I felt ready; I was good friends with the Scouting groups, Infant/Junior schools and the like, so getting volunteer gigs was never hard. I used to do the whole shabang; 2 hours including chart and club songs with games and refreshment time, all for a mere £60 (or free if it was the Scouting groups). It was very hard work (especially for my parents - mum used to set up the games and dad used to set the rigging up with me) but I always saved up and bought them something extra-nice for Mothers/Fathers day

So for around 5 years, I had that on the go as well as another part-time job and my schooling - I honestly have no idea how I managed my time when I was doing all of that haha.

The Present

The time came when I hit uni - I had to hang up my coat and quit the mobile DJ stuff as I moved an hour and a half away to sunny Canterbury. Since then (2009), I've been trying to get myself in at the clubs in Canterbury to no avail (so far), though I do DJ two events up in London (one's bi-yearly, one's monthly), both of which hit full capacity every event - the bi-yearly event has recently moved to a larger venue, and the monthly event are currently trying to do so, but are in the middle of expanding their events, which I've been invited in on!

I have also recently been told that I am now in charge of everything sound-wise at the monthly event, which I feel greatly honoured to have - at the moment, it's just me on the decks for the full 5 hours, pumping out the very best of everything!

The Future

So, what have I got planned ahead of me? Not much at the moment; I'm still going to continue with both events and, if the expansion does happen, I will definitely be getting in on that!

The next big event that's coming up is Ibiza in June. Am I nervous? Yes. Oh God yes. It's been plaguing my dreams for a while and disturbing my sleep as I try to formulate playlists as I try to sleep, but I'm more than happy to be DJing the party capital of the world! You can read about more of that here.

I'll still be bombarding the Canterbury scene, as well as London, Manchester, Essex and Brighton. If you're an event organiser from these places, get prepared for an email from me!

So... yeah. That's me. I hope you enjoyed the read as much as I enjoyed typing it out!

If you have any enquiries, feel free to message me and I'll get back to you ASAP.
